New change to Wushu quarterly format!
Beginning in January, our Wushu quarters will be 12 weeks on, 1 week off, instead of the old 10 weeks on, 2 weeks off. This will allow for two extra weeks of training. Tuition prices will reflect the addition of two weeks. Check the "class schedule and fees" page for the start and end date of 2009's first quarter and fees. The old quarter format mill most likely apply to the summer quarter. Students will be notified if that is the case.

UPCOMING SPECIALTY CLASS:
"Wushu-Tai Chi Fan Form":
This 17 session class will allow participants to learn a "Wushu-Tai Chi Fan" routine.
This form combines the characteristics of Wushu (primarily Longfist styles), Tai Chi (Yang, Chen styles), and BaguaZhang. Consisting of 6 sections, it is a wonderful blend of slow, graceful movments and dynamic fast movements. This routine has a music piece composed specifically for this routine, making it a wonderful demonstration form or fun practice at home.
No prior martial arts experience is required to learn this form, although it is indeed helpful. Beginners with no prior experience will have the opportunity to learn the fundamental concepts of Wushu and gain the health benefits of Tai Chi alongside their classmates.
This class will be on Saturday afternoons, beginning on Saturday January 3rd, 2009 and running until Saturday April 25th, 2009. Each session will be 90 minutes, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm (with an open practice opportunity from 2:30 to 3:00 pm). Participants who have successfully completed the program may opt to become part of the "Wushu-Taiji Fan routine" performance group.
Tuition fee for the whole series is $340, payable in full on first class, or in monthly installments (see registration form below for payment options).
